Smart Crop Care: AI-Powered Mobile Tool Improves Pest Control in Rice Farming.
We developed an AI- and predictive analytics-powered next-generation crop management application in collaboration with Kerala Agricultural University. When farmers take pictures of their crops, the technology detects pests or diseases, predicts breakouts, and sends them cellphone alerts with immediate, useful advice. Rice farmers in Kerala are able to proactively control crop health, minimize losses, and improve harvest quality because of this smooth fusion of state-of-the-art technology with indigenous agronomic expertise, revolutionizing the practice of sustainable agriculture.
